As the world's first airworthiness-certified 2-ton-class firefighting drone, Fengfei Aviation's eVTOL features an airframe entirely constructed from new carbon fiber materials, providing a safe and fire-resistant power system. The flight platform can rapidly ascend to 100 meters within one minute, with a lift speed exceeding 2 meters per second. The system carries water, Class B foam, and Class A foam extinguishing agents, and can also carry four 100-kilogram fire extinguishing bombs, each capable of covering a maximum area of 700 square meters. It is particularly suitable for extinguishing fires involving hazardous chemicals. The drone delivers a continuous spray flow of at least 20 liters per second, with an effective spray range exceeding 40 meters.

Based on the 2025 Tai Po fire in Hong Kong, existing drones have fire hoses with diameters far smaller than fire trucks, making their water supply systems insufficient for high-rise building fires. This drone features a digital gimbal combined with GPS for precise fire location; it flies directly to the target location, offering user-friendly operation and one-click recovery; it is equipped with three independent flight control systems, supporting autonomous control decisions, intelligent firefighting tactics, and multi-drone collaborative operations; a clear camera provides clear imaging and real-time fire risk data; it offers instant monitoring and can perform nighttime missions; and it uses wireless digital transmission, avoiding overhead wiring. This drone can be rapidly deployed and can conduct fire reconnaissance and extinguish fires over large areas of urban high-rises and forests. However, it should be noted that the technology is still in the exploratory stage, and its extinguishing agent capacity and spray coverage efficiency remain limited in high-rise building fires. As the world's first ducted fan high-altitude tethered firefighting drone system, its integrated design of a tethered eight-ducted fan flight platform and fire truck chassis enables rapid response and can be deployed for combat without complex deployment, breaking through the height limitations and response speed bottlenecks of traditional firefighting equipment.
