Meaning
The UAV water pump is a micro electric booster pump specially installed on the multi rotor or fixed wing UAV. It is mainly used to deliver the liquid in the fuselage medicine box and water tank to the nozzle at a stable pressure to achieve spraying, spray, cleaning, spraying and other operations. It is the core executive component of plant protection, cleaning and fire fighting UAVs.
Basic principles
Unmanned aerial vehicle water pumps are mostly DC brushless diaphragm pumps, which rely on motors to drive the internal diaphragm to perform reciprocating motion, causing periodic changes in the volume inside the pump chamber:
- When the volume expands, negative pressure is formed to suck liquid from the medicine box into the pump;
- When the volume shrinks, pressure is generated to push the liquid towards the nozzle pipeline;
- By using PWM speed regulation or voltage regulation, the motor speed can be controlled to achieve adjustable flow and pressure, ensuring uniform and stable spraying.
